Fabulous view, softly playing classic music. We for a light meal, and we ordered Viking Eggs - which came with a generous serving of salmon. The side salad came with the right amount of dressing. If you come to see Stella Maris basilica (very beautiful ceiling, definitely worth a look), make sure to stop in that nice cafe. They serve all kind of meals, we enjoyed the one we had.
great selection of European food (mostly Austrian). pretty tasty. not kosher. the outdoor seating is not getting enough attention and located on the exit path from the Stella Maris monastery. lots of tourist traffic, often loud and crowded.
Overall good - large variety of sausages, tasty deserts, very nice location and view. But - the service is kind of very lazy... Each thing takes time, you do not feel like the staff is trying to be nice for you. Also, *austrian* restaurant - no draft beer ?! A bit weird...
This Austrian kitchen caffe is located on Carmel mountain at Stella Maris, with nice view of the Mediterranean Sea. The food is influenced by the Austrian kitchen with many unique servings. You can find great salads , sandwiches and of course sausages of all sorts. The food is excellent and very tasty. For deserts they have a selection of cakes and of course the great locally hand made excellent apple strudel . Seating outside is highly recommended. To sum it up, the atmosphere, service and food are excellent. Have fun
